Economic Development & Infrastructure

With nationwide budget cuts to municipal agencies and departments, residents in Chula Vista have been excluded from the planning and building of our infrastructure which often benefits special interests from out-of-state.

Mark will advocate for residents and local small businesses in district 1 to have input into the economic development and infrastructure construction of the area. He will ensure that residents’ voices are represented in new developments and projects such as the mixed-use hub called the Millenia. He will also advocate for implementations that retain tax revenue, which subsequently support local services.
